limits to allow patients to reschedule their appointments

In order to send mass rescheduling links, we need to turn the toggle on for "Allow patients to reschedule their appointments." However, this is leading to multiple same day cancellations without any notifications to the pharmacy as patients are just rescheduling to the next available appointment. I would like to prevent patients from rescheduling their appointments themselves, but allow them to reschedule when I send them the rescheduling link. Can we have one but not the other? If a patient needs to reschedule, they should be forced to contact the pharmacy.

Gaby, you are correct. When they reschedule, they can see our calendar and rebook as they wish on whatever date and time.

When patients reschedule, whether en masse or individually, they should not have access to my entire calendar. One way is for the program to "remember" my original set of start and end dates, and applies this to the rescheduling function.

Lawrence Leung: clarifying that this is primarily a problem when patients choose to reschedule on their own from their booking confirmation (i.e. they are not sent a reschedule link from the pharmacy side)

Agreed. We had to turn off rescheduling privileges because we were having to scramble to find patients to fill appointments last minute when patients cancelled/rescheduled on the day of their appointment.
